Bravely is looking for a visual designer to help us establish our brand and extend that identity across touchpoints.
Bravely is a platform that helps employees connect with professional coaches for confidential conversations, but we sell to employers—most often HR and “People” teams. In other words, we’re a “B2B2C” company, and our brand needs to appeal to organizational leaders as much as it does to the people who use our service.
Working closely with our product designer and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing an ownable look and feel that supports our mission to reimagine workplace communication—designing for web, print, email, social, and more.
This role will report to the Head of Brand. Open to full-time freelance applicants.
Bravely is a platform that connects employees with professional coaches outside of their workplace to encourage better conversations and healthier organizations. Using the app, people can easily schedule a phone session with a “Pro” who can provide guidance from a place of objectivity, and help them take the next step with their boss, colleague, direct report, or HR team. Our goal is to get people talking about their issues sooner and more productively, which is why Bravely is a new way forward for employees dealing with tough topics like performance and coworker conflict.
You’re a brand designer by trade, but you’re interested in and able to contribute to conversations about user experience
You know that design can help tell stories and are excited about working closely with marketing and communications
You’re a strategic thinker who is interested in how design can support business needs
You’re excited about working on a small team in a fast-paced environment where everyone wears many different hats
You possess strong communication and collaboration skills and are incredibly detail-oriented
You’re passionate about furthering our mission: building a platform that makes it easier for people to talk about whatever they’re facing at work, leading to happier employees and healthier organizations overall
- 3+ years of experience in visual/brand design at a creative agency, startup or brand
- Fluent in Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; experience with Squarespace a plus
- Confident art directing photo/video shoots and leading the post-production process
